The Charlotte Knights replaced demoted outfielder Darren Blakely today by announcing the signing and activation of minor league veteran Tony Torcato. Torcato is a .298 career minor league hitter in seven seasons. The Barons announced the signing of outfielder Cory Aldridge, replacing Mark Quinn who went to the DL.
