Yesterday, the ball that Sizemore hit that turned into a triple is the exact reason Brian needs to be out there. I'm not sure if Brian would've caught it, but I don't think Sizemore gets a triple out of it either. I would be more concerned if Anderson was a good field, no-hit type of player in the minors, but he showed he could hit at all levels. I'm pretty sure that will come along in due time.

Brian's defense in CF is pretty damn fantastic. I'm willing to let him struggle at the plate so long as he's getting the job done with his glove. And to this point, that's what he's doing. It's to the point where if BA is out there in CF, I expect any ball hit in his area code to be caught. I definitely can't say that about any other outfielder on our team.
