May 31, 200619 yr Pelicans win two of three games in series Press Release from Winston-Salem Warthos Winston-Salem, NC - The Winston-Salem Warthogs (28-23) lost to Myrtle Beach, 7-4, Wednesday afternoon. The Pelicans won two of three games in the series. Warthogs' reliever, Demetrius Banks, suffered the loss. Warthogs' starter, Jack Egbert, pitched well but got a no decision. Egbert gave up on earned run on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings. Myrtle Beach Pelicans' reliever, Stephen Russell, earned his first win.
