Being a fan of the Chicago White Sox takes a bunch of effort. People do not realize the courage it takes of taking slashings at during the day from mis fortunate Chicago Cub fans who do not know what they are talking about due to their squirrel like brains. Being a fan of the Chicago White Sox does mean that we also must be what I like to call, "Fans of Baseball." What I mean by this is that we as White Sox fans must still be emotional about our team, but we also must follow other teams as well. We must know the players, because if we know all the players as well as we do as the Pale Hose, we are to become the advanced fans.

 

My whole point of this is for us to have a new forum called "Around the League." I would like to moderate it, and so we can talk about other teams as well so we can learn about them more. It will help us tremendously by doing so.

I don't care what other teams are doing. That's why I am following the White Sox and not the major leagues. My name is witesoxfan for a reason....because I want to follow the White Sox....not the major leagues. I come here to read about the White Sox(Pale Hose Talke) and other crazy stuff that happens(Off Topic Board)....if I want to follow other stuff that is happening in the majors, I go to the fantasy sports or baseball section of Yahoo.

I am a White Sox fan--have been since birth always will be, but I follow baseball. I suscribe to Baseball weekly (now sportsweekly covering baseball and football), and I always read up on how other teams, league prospects, and stuff like that are shaping up. If you notice there are always threads about other events in baseball not involving the Sox, for example Roger Clemens.

 

I am in favor of the proposed new board, and if more than 1 moderator was necessary, then I would help mod. it. (though I do not know exactly what moderators do)
