Quick double check on my numbers please

If the Cubs were to play .650 ball the rest of the way and the Sox were to play .475 ball, the Sox would still have a better record than the Cubs, 89-74 to 88-75 . Now considering the Cubs haven't played .650 ball since 1918 or even .600 ball since 1945 and the World Champion White Sox have the second best record in baseball and haven't finished under .500 this millennium, I'd say Mr. Smith made a pretty safe choice. On a positive note for the Cubs, I hear attendance is up.

Your point is....

The Cubs suck?

I could of told you that...with less numbers too.

Actually no....it's just something for work, but I'd feel like a real ass if I was off with my numbers...
