BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Six Birmingham Barons have been named to the 2006 Southern League South Division All-Star Team, as announced on June 28th by the Southern League.

 

Birmingham players selected for the MAX 2006 Southern League All-Star Game, which will be played on Monday, July 10th, at 7:05pm at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala., include: outfielder Ricardo Nanita, designated hitter Corey Smith and pitchers Lance Broadway, B.J. LaMura, Tyler Lumsden and Ehren Wassermann.
