Interesting. I've done my part. I've seen the Orem Owlz play (July 3rd, an Orem record crowd of 4, 579...pretty good crowd for a Rookie level team). I'll be seeing all the Great Falls games when they play in Orem in a few weeks. I've been to a bunch of Salt Lake Bees games and I'm going again tomorrow night. I saw Jared Weaver pitch a gem just before his first callup and I remarked to my friend, "he'll get called up soon".

At that game the "old" guy sitting behind me said that he had been Dave McNally's catcher in American Legion ball. He said that he waaay prefers minor league baseball to major league games. Of course that's probably true of a lot of people who don't live very close to a major league city. So that's a good thing. Minor league games ARE fun but I'd rather go to one Sox game than a hundred minor league games.

I SOOOO miss Chicago!!

I love Minor League baseball :cheers

I go see Charlotte about twice a year. My kids love the fact that the players are approachable. My boy has talked to Charlie Haeger, Josh Fields, Ryan Sweeney, Casey Rogowski, Brian Anderson, Joe Borchard and Ross Gload. Also at the Minor league parks there is usually no bad seats.
