Diamondbacks to change their colors

Featured Replies

Sedona red? In that case, I'll see you guys later. I've found my team.

This sucks, I liked their uniforms.

Thank the maker.

Another 1990s Bad-Design moment has been swept away after living far too long. Personally, I could never decide which was worse--Their A-logo, that bizarre 'D' road cap, or their bad typography including the "Diamond Backs" logotype and their uniform names and numerals. But with such a dated team name I guess there is only so much you can polish a turd.

But now it sounds like they're going to look like the Astros, who have handsome uniforms but ones in need of piping and uniform names and numerals that aren't filled with needles appliqué and are a more slid fit with the script proportions. They also should bring back that H-Star cap they wore through the 1970s and 80s instead of that half-star cattle brand thing. But their script has classic beauty.

Is it really that hard to design a neo-classic baseball uniform without making it look like an Adobe Illustrator tutorial?
