My family used to have season tickets to the Blackhawks and I used to live and die with the team. Once they moved to the UC, my interested faded a little more each year. By the time the lockout wiped out the season two years ago, I hardly cared. Last year, they were out of the playoffs by Thanksgiving.

I do have to say, seeing these guys play this year (on road TV only) that I am enthused and excited for the games. Hopefully they can bring the fans back. The old barn used to rock and the destruction of this franchise has been sickening since then. Let's hope they win and can overcome $ Bill Wirtz and his dinosaur mentality.

I agree, I use to be a HUGE Hawks fan, but the ownership has killed that the last few years, but watching the games this year they actually look like a professional hockey team again.
