Discovery Health Plastic Surgery show last night

Because I got home from work late, I missed the first 3/4. The last 1/4 horrified me and inspired me at the same time.

Apparently the lady that was having her face reconstructed was a victim of domestic violence. They showed the before and after as well as healing time and cost. They marked the cost as 1,000,000+. The before picture absolutely stunned me - the middle of her face was basically gone. She now has a prostetic nose and they reconstructed her mouth to get it back in some seblance of normal for her. They had a party at the hospital for her when her surgeries were completed. They talked to the staff and talked about how she always kept faith and how they are so happy that she is doing so much better (physically and mentally).

The fact that she had so match faith and such a positive attitude really inspired me and I wish I could have seen the whole thing if just the last 15 minutes inspired me as much as she did.
