December 13, 200619 yr No wonder I'm so behind the times technology-wise. $270 is a good deal for a digital camcoder? I don't think I spent more than $100 for my current one that uses tape.
December 13, 200619 yr Author It's regular $379 at best buy on sale right now for $350. Edited December 13, 200619 yr by Controlled Chaos
December 13, 200619 yr Compared to the regular price, I'm sure it's a pretty good deal. I'm just the type of person that doesn't get into the newer technology until it's be around for awhile and the prices have dropped significantly. I just got my first DVD recorder last year. I still have a regular tube TV, I still have a regular computer monitor, I don't own an MP3 player or a DVR and I've just started getting into digital cameras about 2 years ago.

Digital camcorders have been out in the US for 7-8 years.
