You can also buy a stackable 10% off coupon from ebay for $4.00.

If you sign up for a Dell Preferred Account you can get an additional 2%. Mine didn't show up, but I called and they took care of it right away.

My total after taxes was $269.83. The ebay coupons expire tonight at 11:59.

No wonder I'm so behind the times technology-wise. $270 is a good deal for a digital camcoder? I don't think I spent more than $100 for my current one that uses tape.

It's regular $379 at best buy on sale right now for $350.

Compared to the regular price, I'm sure it's a pretty good deal.

I'm just the type of person that doesn't get into the newer technology until it's be around for awhile and the prices have dropped significantly. I just got my first DVD recorder last year. I still have a regular tube TV, I still have a regular computer monitor, I don't own an MP3 player or a DVR and I've just started getting into digital cameras about 2 years ago.

I have this camera, although I spent more on it...AND I LOOOOOVE IT!!!

Although, I really am not a big fan of Dell, this seems like a great deal.

How long is 'awhile'? Digital camcorders have been out in the US for 7-8 years.

I'm still using a VCR rather than a DVD recorder or DVR. Does that tell you anything?
