Interesting to see the Sox drop to 9th in payroll, and only $1.6 mil from 11th. dmbjeff Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 just goes to show how much salaries in baseball have jumped the past few years. 2005 we were around 75-80 million and that number jumped significantly but everyone else kept up with payroll increases too.
