Just saw a brief report on him on ESPN. I might not have seen it correctly, but I thought I saw that he went 20-4 in 2001 in A ball in the Cubs system (before the Marlins trade). When that trade was made, I couldn't believe that the Cubs got Alfonseca and Clement for Tavares. Now I know why.
