The last I heard of Cito was when the Sox interviewed him when they eventually hired Ozzie. Why do teams shy away from him? In the time an age of recycling managers it's wierd that a guy with two rings and 4 division titles in five years can't get a job.

From what I hear, he's incredibly demanding and not flexible... he basically wants to take ownership of player moves and what not.

 

though with that track record...

I remember reading all kinds of crazy things that he wanted when he was up for the Sox deal. For one, he wanted a ton of money, two, he wanted final say on personnel decisions, three, he wanted Maggs re-signed among other things (at least IIRC).
