June 29, 200322 yr I dont feel sorry for Konerko. Not at all. He called out Frank and now karmas returning the favor. If Frank called PK out on his poor play, Id laugh. But I also hope he wont do that. Frank has so much more class than Kong... He called out Thomas because he was hitting .230 at the time and he was being a very s***ty teammate. There was a reason he called out Thomas. Take off the rose-colored glasses sometime and use a little object-ability. Frank Thomas is not the messiah, just a good hitter who was the best hitter in the game during his prime. His skills are diminished. Regardless, Thomas and Konerko have cleared whatever was between the two last year afterwards. You never heard about it because it wouldn't have been a good story.
