I only this is to show Kenny that Milledge can play and that Milledge will soon be playing on the south side. Though in reality, KW is looking at a package of Sandy Alomar Jr. and Jon Adkins.

When I first saw this, I thought to myself that this is to possibly hope Milledge gets hot and gets traded to us.

franco was cut as a result of this move.....finally looks like his career might be coming to an end

 

Franco had already played three seasons in the majors when Milledge was born in 1985.

unfortunately what is going to happen is milledge will dominate and the mets will think "man, thank god the white sox rejected THAT deal.
