I don't think Pierre will be avaible at anytime this year.

 

 

Plus I don't see the marlins trading anyone till atleast they are 5-10 games below .500

We won't get Pierre with what he has done this year for the fish, and that he's cheap for them.

I believe the term "designated for assignment" applies when you wish to send down a player who is out of options or has five years of service. IOW you can't just send him down to the minors. You make him available to the rest of the two leagues. Jiminez is different. We can send him down to Charlotte, no questions asked, unless he is out of options, which I do not think is the case.
