StatManDu
Bobby Jenks collected 40 of the White Sox 42 or saves in 2007. That is easily the highest percentage (95%) since the stat became official in 1969. Other high ratios: Jenks 41/46 in 2006, Roberto Hernandez 38/43 in 1996, Roberto Hernandez 32/36 in 1994 and Terry Forster 24/29 in 1974. TLAK
Great stat, got me thinking. Twice has one player recorded all of his team's saves (>30 saves). Both times the Giants under Dusty Baker, Rod Beck in 1996 with 35 and Robb Nen in 2002 with 43. The 02 team won the NL pennant.
earthshiner
QUOTE(StatManDu @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 11:08 AM) Jenks 41/46 in 2005 I don't think that is right. Do you mean 2006?
