July 2, 200322 yr I hope that by the trade deadline KW addresses the need of a 4th or 5th starter. On the block ar Ponson, Trachsel, Leiter, and Weaver. Of those 4, there is only 1 I'd consider picking up (Ponson). Trachsel is no better than Garland or Wright. Weaver wants no part of the White Sox and Boras is his agent so don't count on it. Leiter has $$$$$ attached to him and JR is not gonna add significant salary unless the player is Barry Bonds. That leaves Ponson. Given the choices, I'd consider taking my chances with Wright if he continues to pitch the way he has been lately. Don't let his 0-3 record fool you. He owned a "first place" club last Friday .
