Winter ball: Twelve Sox players, including D'Angelo Jimenez, Willie Harris, Joe Borchard, Damaso Marte and Jose Valentin, will spend time this offseason playing winter ball in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. Harris and Borchard have joined Valentin in the Puerto Rican League, playing for Mayaguez.
