So, I recently accepted a legal job in Phoenix. I don't know a whole lot about the area, and I was wondering if anyone on this site had an idea about where I should try to live.

 

I will either be working downtown or in Durango depending on where I am placed to begin. Thanks for any help/advice from people familiar with the area.

I've only been once. However, I would suggest not living downtown. It isn't exactly the nicest area. There are a lot of surrounding areas near Phoenix that are very nice to live however.
