Sean Rodriguez

I only caught a glimpse of this on the news early this moring before I went to work, so I can't give any details. Anybody hear about this or know anything that can add to the validity of this incident?

Here's what they showed on the clip on WGN news/sports at 6:15 this morning.

Sean Rodriguez from LAA was at bat. Ball four was thrown to him, but he never went to first, and the ump did not send him. He stayed in the batters box until the next pitch, and then he struck out. The WGN sports announcer said that NO ONE caught it until the game was over. How can no umps, managers, players not see that? Anyone ever hear anything like that before??
