He chose FA instead of going back to AAA Nashville. Good fit for Charlotte?

From what I've seen of him, he's not much of a player, but he should be good in AAA and with Charlotte, and I'm all for anything to make that Charlotte team better. He's got a long powerful swing, similar to Prince's, but he is just no where near as good of a baseball player that Prince is.

 

I'd have no problem with it. IIRC, he was once a highly touted prospect.

 

Also, has he had weight problems? He's gained a ton of weight since he first came into the league. He's gained almost 40 pounds since coming into the league in 2001.
