Tonight is the first time I saw him. Haven't really seen enough to say much yet. I do know he throws hard, but has had problems with control in the past. He was blowing guys away tonight.

They faced a pretty tough lefty tonight. Pena doesn't have great stuff, but has decent movement and he threw strikes. He kept them off balance. I didn't see many real good swings against him tonight from anyone. A lot of weak groundouts. His defense didn't help him either.

 

Birmingham is a lefty dominated lineup. Sometimes they will struggle against lefthanders.
