This is going to be hard to believe (I haven't actually fully comprehended this feeling yet), but Kyle McCulloch started a game, pitched well, and won. Weird.

is it just me or is Ely having a very quiet great season in Birmingham this year? Why doesn't he get more recognition as one of our top prospects?

the most frustrating thing in this entire organization is kenny williams jr leading off and mitchell batting 6th-7th

wtf? :huh

I would venture to guess that his stuff is very run of the mill and doesn't project to the majors. Doesn't have great peripherals either...very mediocre K rate and control. Yeah, he has an ERA under 3, but I'm pretty sure that Egbert put up better numbers at that level too, and he's nothing more than a AAAA pitcher for the Sox who wasn't able to convert to a reliever.

If that's the most frustrating thing in this organization I'd say we pretty much have no problems at all then

He does that once in a blue moon.
