August 14, 200916 yr QUOTE (scenario @ Aug 13, 2009 -> 08:55 PM) If he is to become a right-handed Granderson/Sizemore, then he's going to have to start hitting from the other side of the plate. Thats what I was just thinking.
August 14, 200916 yr Joseph Serafin. 37th round pick, no overpowering stuff, not a particularly big guy, fastball in the high 80's, lefty. Jumps to A ball in his first pro season. Somehow striking out more than a guy an inning, with excellent control (low walk rate), and good (but not spectacular) core numbers so far in Low A. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

August 14, 200916 yr QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 13, 2009 -> 08:54 PM) Jordan Danks is really struggling. His average continues to plummet after a 0-4 night with a BB and a K. He’s now at .253, and is definitely looking like a candidate to repeat AA next year. You have to wonder if the wrist injury has something to do with it. The numbers before and after the injury are insanely different. I hope he's being honest with the trainers.
August 16, 200916 yr QUOTE (scenario @ Aug 13, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) If he is to become a right-handed Granderson/Sizemore, then he's going to have to start hitting from the other side of the plate. I was thinking he was right-handed or that someone said he was. I'm pretty sure I actually knew he was left handed.
