July 30, 200322 yr Crede has shown some flashes of being brilliant, but he's had a lot of trouble hitting the outside pitch. Last night he reached out for a nice single into right, which could be a sign that he's swinging the bat a little better. Most of the time he gets blown away by a good fastball though, usually either high or outside.
July 30, 200322 yr The one thing I've really noticed about Joe Crede this year is that he tends to pop out a lot, which he wasn't doing much of last year. I don't know if it's an upward motion in his swing, but it seems to me like that is the one difference from last year to this. If he can get that straightened out. BEWARE!
