aboz56
http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/index.ssf?...14734123680.xml "Drew Henson hasn't developed to the point where he's really in consideration at this time for the major-league side," Cashman said. "The move on Aaron Boone speaks volumes about where Drew Henson is in terms of his development at this time." In other words, the Yankees are disappointed with the progress of Henson, who has struggled with the strike zone and on defense throughout his minor-league career. The Yankees owe Henson $12 million more for the three seasons after this one, and yesterday it sounded as if they wouldn't mind if he quit and went back to football so they didn't have to pay him. --------------------------------------------- What a sad story for the Yanks. Hopefully you sense my sarcasm.
