KC series

Hernandez starts tomorrow, last time we saw him we lit him up like a christmas tree.

It will help that we're at home.

I have a good feeling that the Sox have another chance at a sweep or takin 2 out of 3 from these guys starting tomorrow.

As will Frank, PK, Robbie, etc.

Lima's gone and a rusty Sweeney's back.

Bring 'em on.

We're coming home after a great trip.

Forkit!

FYI, Sweeney is expected to be back in the lineup tomorrow night.  :)

Are they rushing him? I heard mid-August a week or so ago  ?

Sweeney spent the week taking live batting practice and experienced no pain. The past two nights, he played in two rehab starts for one of the Royals minor league teams and experienced no setbacks. (Couple of hits and a home run) And this series being as big as it is, I imagine he doesn't want to wait any longer.

IMO, Sweeney will be playing in DH and i think he will do nothing agst our pitchers because he will have to regain his shape at the plate. I hope so!

It's too bad Lima is out. He's known for giving up the longball and we have all seen over the past week that the Sox are a big fan of the homer.

Sweeney can roll out of bed in January and hit .... especially against the Sox.
