In my book, this loss is Manuel's fault

Manuel pulled Garland too quickly. He hadn't even thrown 80 pitches yet, and he was pitching well. I hadn't been watching too closely, but apparently, we had been playing some shaky defense behind him. Manuel has got to get 6 innings out of Garland, because the pen had been used up in yesterday's game against Seattle. Garland was going to give us 6 strong innings and get us through it all. In my mind, that has been Manuel's biggest mistake in atleast a month. That's the manager I want canned. These are the kinds of moves the seperate good managers from great ones. Manuel is obviously not a great manager. The Show got his ass lit up(so much for that lefty-lefty matchup.....if I counted correctly, the Royals sent up 4 straight lefties, with the exception of one pitch to Harvey, and all 4 of them reached), and then Ginter got thrown on a s*** call(he was gonna get out of it too), so then we had to call on Wunsch.

BTW....am I the only one who noticed that our pitcher got thrown out after he hit a guy(and it was obviously an accident....why would you hit a guy in a situation like that?), but after Grimsley hit Olivo, though Olivo struck out on the pitch, he and Pena were not tossed. I think that was the worst job of policing the game I have seen since Garland got tossed after no teams were warned in the Twinkie game. Goddamn was that ump s***ty. I kind of knew that we couldn't win this game at that point.
