BMR

Featured Replies

I've read that the typical BMR for a person with my body (26 years old, 180 LBs, 6'0") is that I burn about 1900 calories a day doing nothing. Since eating 5-6 meals a day will increase the amount of calories my body burns daily, how big a of a difference would this make to eat that often? Would I be burning 2500 calories a day instead of 1900? More? What if I eat 1-2 meals a day? Would it go down all the way to 1400 calories a day or less?

Just curious for someone who is educated on this kind of thing.
