Joe Crede...Again

Featured Replies

So he got hot during '03's interleague. Is that because he was playing 1B during that stretch? Doubt it.

Only 1 way to find out, right? ;)

I still dont really like him, but Joe Credes not doing bad. His average is up to .246 and hes on pace for 16 homeruns and 68 RBIs, which, for a rookie with great D, aint bad...

:o

Roman, do you not hate Crede now? :bang

Time for a reader here to read what others sayand take it at face value.

I did. Thomas has been a .250-.270 hitter ever since '99 with the exception of 2000..... and that may be generous. Is that because he has been DH'ing the majority of the time? Doubt it. So he got hot during '03's interleague. Is that because he was playing 1B during that stretch? Doubt it.

As you said, it wasn't because he was playing 1B. It was because the NL pitchers did not really know how to pitch him. AL pitchers have long since figured Frank out. I made a post after interleague play predicting Frank would hit the skids again, for that very reason.

I still hate him but he has been playing better...
