Yankees blow a 1-out, bases loaded opportunity. Heading to the 8th, Yanks still up 6-3.

Twins about to finish off the Indians, as they lead it 8-2 in the 9th.

Cleveland will have a 7 run inning capped off by a Coco Crisp grand slam.

I hope.

The Twins have won 8-2, so they trail by 2.5 games in the division, and are presently .5 games behind the Sox (tonight's outcome pending).

The Royals are losing 6-3 in the bottom of the 8th in the Bronx, and if they don't come back, they will lead the Twins by 2 games, and us by either 1 or 2 (tonight's outcome pending).

Heading to the 9th, KC down 6-3.

Rivera closes out the Royals, so the Sox now are 1.5 gms out. The Twins are 2 out.

And we finish the day 1 game back. Them damn Twinkies keep hanging around. I guess the Sox will just have to put the thump on the Twins themselves.
