Quick Firefox Help

Firefox updated itself tonight when I opened it.

When it opened, everything appeared super zoomed in. Text, the tool bar at the top, etc.

I am able to make a page smaller by doing control and then + or -, but that only fixes the text on the page, not the tool bar. Also, it only fixes that particular site. So if I make Soxtalk smaller, then open ESPN, ESPN is still giant. I'd have to repeat this for every website.

Resolution on the computer in general did not change, so that's not what needs to be adjusted.

How do I fix this to make every website appear "smaller" (back to normal) and also fix the giant toolbar at the top?

Thanks

Google continues to amaze with it's ability to spit out answers to technical questions.

hello, firefox 22 is now respecting the pixel density you've set on a system level in the windows control panel > appearance > display. more information about that is availbale at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...rger-or-smaller

if you want to set the text size/pixel density in firefox different from that of your system's settings like it was handled in prior versions, enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. double-click it and change its value to 1.0 (or any other zoom factor that fits your purpose; -1.0 is the default value and will adhere to the system settings).
