Personalized throwback unis?

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but what the hey.

I'm getting married next month and want to get my best man a custom Cubs uniform with his name on the back. I found out his favorite Cubs uniform is from 1942. However, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get that style personalized. To my knowledge most teams only offer their current uniform for customization. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that would personalize a throwback uni (assuming I can find one in that style that has a blank back).

Thanks!

I would try Pro Jersey Sports in Downers Grove or Grandstand on 35th. I'm sure they both do custom letters/numbers, just not sure what styles they have. I'd imagine you could get something done that you're pretty happy with.

I just contacted Pro Jersey Sports and it sounds like they can help me out. Couldn't find the '42 throwback so I had to settle on the '53 one, which is still a great jersey in its own right. Thanks!
