InTheDriversSeat
Sad to report the passing of Jim O'Toole on the day after Christmas. Jim was from the southside of Chicago, and he was best known for his 9 seasons with the Cincinnati Reds. He was the starting pitcher for National League in the 1963 All Star Game. Jim was traded to his hometown team, the White Sox prior to the 1967 season. Jim's younger brother, Dennis also pitched in the Sox organization 1967-1973. http://www.wcpo.com/sports/baseball/reds/r...oole-dead-at-78 http://www.newsday.com/sports/baseball/jim...s-78-1.11269064 My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. O'Toole's family and friends . JohnCangelosi
Thanks for this post. Jim was my fathers 1st cousin and of course he knew him very well. He lived out the rest of his life in Cincinnati with his wife and 11 kids. RIP.
