we def need some pitchers to show up. Last year was the worst pitching performance in the minors I can remember.

I'm hoping for bounce back / velo increase from Ronaldo Guzman. Had a nice year in DSL as a 16 y.o. Lost 2020, and him and mena were awful as 18 y.o. in rookie ball.

Guys I'm looking forward to their sequal based on limited last year(burke excluded): a lot of the 2021 class Sommer, Edwards, Simas, Luna. Jordan Mikel was really good in Kanny then struggled more in Hi-A but was still K'ing people. So that will be interesting to see.

Position player wise Hackenberg was awesome last year and maybe we get some more fun from Terrell Tatum. Victor Quezada will be the big watch for me since he did something rare and hit for decent power in DSL.

Krogman's high OBP, 10 HRs but zero hitting will be amazing if he can find some contact.

Could be a fun, lo-pressure follow on the farm since it's mostly garbage.

Thank you for allowing your reply to be my season hotwatch list.

I believe we have released Ronaldo Guzman last month.

I get why the low minor teams are terrible (#30 farm system plus a lot of really young guys among the new prospects); but Charlotte's roster doesn't look like a 26 below .500 roster.

    Their pitching has been horrific.

It has more to do with the base itself being considered the keystone base, so the position just adopted the same name.

    Correct. I found this.

The term Short Stop had been in use since the earliest days of baseball, so the 2nd Baseman's position became known as the Keystone, and the pair together became known as the Keystone Combination

Tough year for Benyamin Bailey.  Pretty wild that they started him in Kanny and he’s since gotten demoted and has struggled in the ACL.  Still young enough to rebound, but his prospect status has definitely take a hit.

First year up here in the states. Young guy. Hopefully that is all that is wrong. Yolbert, who is quite a bit older, went from decent in DSL to doing very well in the states this year, but he is quite a bit older than Bailey. Gives me hope yet for Bailey.

  5. There are quite a few middle infielders who are doing well. Romy Gonzalez, Yolbert Sanchez, Jose Rodriguez, Lenyn Sosa, Samil Polanco, Bryan Ramos (has been a 3Bman but this year playing a lot of 2B), Wilber Sanchez. Then add Montgomery and Kath and yep, some folks are going to get cut.
