Right but I thought he was referring more to the comfortable financial status and not ruining his career. The Bash bros were successful Right away from performance as well. I think McGwire had 49 home runs his rookie year.
Gotcha. Thought it was performance based

Puljols didn't have that success when he started neither did McGwire or Canseco. They were rookies when it started. They eventually became stars.
Pujols had that success right away. His rookie season is insane.

If anyone else is at the game there is literally ZERO line (almost empty) at the Craft Beer Cave and the Revolution room. Seems they are quite the hidden gem at the park. Normal lines on the concourse are very long.
The craft cave is so hit or miss. It can be no one or a shit ton of people.

He has a 0.79 WHIP over his last 2 starts. I think he's "back" whatever that means
I get that, but being able to locate that high change is what makes him special.

Lol they should at least try to explain wRC+
Stone can't handle that.

Change looks good. Let's see if he can bring in the high change. Then we'll know he's back.

Yes, I meant like these kind of games.
Gotcha. I agree. Thought you were saying today's game specifically.

Jon Garland...acquired in trade with the Cubs...Jon did not blossom until he was allowed to stay out there and get out of his own jams imo.
It would be great to see Cease on a similar trajectory.
I mean he was out there for over 105 pitches. High pitch count, got through a couple Jams.

Problem isn't even that these guys don't know much about baseball but that they don't even want to learn. To them, every decision can be second guessed so therefore no decision is questionable. Zero analytical thinking, it's a wonder you can even make it through life with a mindset like that.
What are you even talking about? They don't want to learn the Game? It's a wonder you make it through the day, cause it seems you live for shitting on other people. You can spend time better

Can I just say that Collins calls a better game behind the plate...and it does not seem to be close.
Sox are top 5 in era top 10 In whip. Grandal seems to be doing just fine

How the fuck do we have another off day? I thought this was the 40 games in 41 day stretch or some shit. Happy for the players to get a win on getaway day and enjoy a relatively normal NYC however. They deserved it. Just don't be too hungover for the opener.
What would you do if you had to work 40 days with one off day? Baseball is a really shit schedule.

Do we also get to give the middle finger for all the busted high draft picks that we sometimes don’t have the budgetary resources to cover for?
Since 2013 the only 1st round draft pick to not hit the show is Jake burger. To me that seems like a really fucking high hit rate in the first round. So who busted?
-
How is that burger what the team put in a food bracket challenge.

How hard is it to hit a home run in Kaufman? Looks like Alberto crushed that and it died before the track.
It is cold there today. In the summer it's probably gone

Defensive replacements shouldn't be a thing in the 7th with a 3 run lead

I just wish Tony would leave Vaughn in for a whole goddamn game. Let the guy get some ABs, jesus
He hasn't done anything terrible in the outfield. Has 2 hits. Just let him play.

Must suck to somersault and bend your back like that. Maybe another double DUI brother to brother? Wow.
