beginning tonight and during this 7 game trip? This team has come to play when facing a tough team and or pitcher, however it's been quite the opposite when they are facing a team and or pitcher they should beat. This team simply can't afford any more let downs against the teams it should beat. That starts tonight. True championship caliber teams bring their A game no matter who the competition. That is especially true as they get to the home stretch of their season. I must admit I still question the heart desire and character of this team. That comes mostly from many years of dissapointment following these guys. It's time for guys like Thomas and Ordonez to step up and lead. This division is there for the taking. It will go to whomever avoids any kind of prolonged slump right now. To be a champion you have to perform like one . The Sox have not done that in many a season. It's time for these guys to deliver.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Been a Sox fan for nearly 20 years, yes im certifably crazy,living here in the SW Michigan area. Glad I just happened upon this site, looks like a great place to talk Sox bb with other diehards. Usually about this time of year I'm getting fired up for Fb but it looks as if the Sox just might give us a pennant race to get fired up over this season. The next 2 weeks will tell us a lot about where this race is headed. KC plays their next 13 against the Yanks and the Twins while the Sox get the Halo's and Texas. These next 14 games will tell us if this Sox team is a pretender or contender.
