In: Clevinger

C - Grandal, Zavala
IF - Moncada, Anderson, Sanchez, Vaughn, Gonzalez, Burger

Crochet is no way gonna be ready for the start of the season. He just had his TJ surgery in April 2022. Don't think he'll be back til All Star break at the earliest.

They can cut him n spring trading and pay a fraction of the contract, The Sox love him. No way they would have non tendered him at that figure
Not with the new CBA

White Sox gonna White Sox:
Today's press conference revealed that TLR was also trotted out all season to vastly underperform when he should have been on the IL all season.

The numbers don’t lie Tony. Snake oil salesmen do. It doesn’t take a Hall of Fame baseball person to figure that out.
What did snake oil salesmen ever do to be compared to this worthless pile of shit?

That whole inning escalated cause Lucas and Grandal got cute to the 7th hitter after having him 0-2. Just throw the damn fastball by him if he doesn't go after 1 change up. Instead they depended on the ump to call a close pitch on a full count. Just fucking stupid.
A hitter who was 0-8 with 6 Ks in his entire MLB career...

Surely Lucas will be able to make that 1 run be plenty for a win today...
Narrator: Lucas DID NOT make that 1 run lead hold up...

Tony said Vaughn did a heck of a job fielding last night, because he let balls drop, but kept the balls in front of him.
This is something you would note about a 6 year old playing T-Ball, not a professional ballplayer.
TLR is a fucking delusional moron. Period.

Peralta, Naquin, Benintendi all mentioned quite often. I know I brought up Peralta because I always talk about the Lefty or SH OF that the D'backs have. I didn't want Peralta though. Stritly LF type and typical Sox pickup . Like a lefty version Pollock only hitting more HRs.
As a matter of fact I didnt much care for Naquin or Benintendi either.
Given the choice, i think just about everyone would prefer Soto.
Given the history of the team we are fans of, i think just about everyone thought we would settle for someone like the 3 players who have already gone elsewhere.
Now that i think about it, just about everyone should have realized even any of those 3 players were too much to hope for.

Anybody else find it hilarious that the two most mentioned possible buy low options available to help the Sox lefty outfield deficiency are two of the first 5 players off the board at the deadline?
