  1. That'll be great if soxnet.net could be brought back, or just something similar on a different web address. I really enjoyed the articles and checking the site out after games and whatnot.

  2. Looks like an Error in the C disk. Maybe you sould delete the whole thing and start over. Remember those programs are Beta and have errors.

I loved Kazza, but don't wanna get caught downloading, even tho it's still in my PC. And even tho i think it's Baloney.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about it. I read something that they are really going after the people with 1000 or more files downloaded on their hard drive. Kazaa's really got frustrating though; it's impossible to find a good version of a song anymore. I always end up finding the ones that continue looping or have that static sound.

  3. From what I saw in the '03 season...Escobar kept getting better and better from start to start in the 2nd half of last season. I think he'd be a great addition to the White Sox. He would definitely be cheaper than Colon and his twin Ponson.

Anyone that has ESPN Insider, is there any word on what's going on with Miguel Batista? I think he'd be a sleeper for a lot of teams right now.

  4. This is kind of a "blah" move.  Nothing to get excited about, but nothing to get angry about either.  He's just here to catch once a week and tutor Olivo.

I hope Kenny has more than this in store for us in terms of "offseason moves."

Very true. Alomar has been great to have around with Olivo being our up and coming catcher. Congrats on his bid to the All-Rookie team BTW....Alomar will never cost much to keep around. I could see him become a great coach or manager after his playing days are over.

  5. THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND

You cannot upload this type of file

That message came up when I tried doing that. Is there anything I can do about that. All it is, is a couple of photos I merged together using Paint....LOL

  6. Thank God we're in the AL central of all places :D .....It makes the dreaded rebuilding stage a little easier to come out of; though I wish we could avoid it at all costs LOL. But all the moves the Twins are being forced to make don't bother me one bit.

It's funny how the Twins have the same problems though. From what I hear the Twins owner could buy George Steinbrenner x3, but then the Twins are at the bottom of the payroll in MLB. It's interesting.

  7. Thanks guys.....LOL, in no way am I a bandwagon fan, I've followed the team for as long as I've known baseball, but 1993 and 2000 are the only years since I've been on the White Sox ship that could have garnered some bandwagon fans.

I do like the rumors I hear about us getting pitching; pitching is definitely essential in winning a championship, let alone the division. However, we need to make sure that we still have some big bats in the lineup. I mean look at the Diamondbacks and Dodgers of last year. They both had awesome pitching staffs, but they had no offense to speak of. Speaking of the Dodgers and Diamondbacks, I've heard the Odalis rumors. Are there any rumors of us going after a guy like Miguel Batista of the Diamondbacks, he seems to have good numbers and he'd definitely come cheaper than some of the other guys on the market.

  8. When I first got word of the White Sox putting Mags on the market, I was blown away. Just a couple weeks ater being on a White Sox high after bringing back Ozzie and thinking of the possibilities of the 2004 season, we find out that we're going to trade away what could be our next big franchise player. I found it to be a real stab in the back from JR. I'm so tired of his tight wadding of money etc.

He complains that he will not spend money on players etc., until people start coming to the games. We were one game short of breaking 2 million in attendance this year. That's really not too bad in my eyes. Does he really expect we'd come anywhere close to that mark in attendance if our starting lineup consists of (nothing against these guys) but Miles, Harris, Borchard, and Wright? It just seems we're starting one of our infamous rebuilding stages, once again.
