I don't find anything funny about the Cub hitting home runs. I really think you are a closet Cub fan sometimes Ugly. At least one of your fantasy teams looks like the Cub roster.

Yeah, I know, but look at who played (Karros, O'Leary, Grudzielanek) and who didn't (Sosa, Choi). Rusch had always pitched the Scrubbies well in the past also.
The funny thing was Brooks belting a home run then giving one up. lol

Nothing much. Took a year and a half hiatus in 2001-2002 because I didn't have internet access at my job, but I've found something better since. A job where my workload takes up about 2 hours a day, so lots of time to post.

I used to post with you on espn during the old "Sox Army"days led by Sonny. I was Ugly then also along with Kids Can Play and Fisk72.
Anyways, you happen to catch Sonny's hit and run posts about 3 weeks back on our board and the Twins board over there, degrading the Sox? What a punk he has turned into, I swear. IDseer got into it with him, and he left without coming back. Was pitiful.

I don't mind Rome all that much, he has his moments. The callers are annoying, and when he goes off about living in SoCal, it pisses me off...It gets old quick.

I still say one of the biggest mistakes this offseason was passing on O. Palmeiro and sticking with Rowand in CF. This guy is fast as s*** and would give us the basestealing threat we so need.

Cabrera would be great! Though Cordero is playing much better than Koney, so there not going to want Slownerko. Plus Koney's salary.
We're so bad right now, I don't know what we could offer that would seem like value to the Spos.
Yeah, but this is CORDERO we're talking about. He won't keep up even close to this pace.
They can have Koney for Cabrera, then pick Lugo off waivers so Cordero and he could give each other tips on how to beat their old ladies.

If I were GM, I'm shipping Konehead for a decent SS prospect. I'm willing to throw in some spare parts to get it done.
When this solid glove great range dude arrives I'm sending Jose to 1B.
That would shore up the deficit in range that is so blatantly obvious with Jimenez. Now the SOX can cheat Jimenez toward 2B to shore up the weakest middle in the majors. I like the total range improvement with Crede, the new guy, Jimenez, & Jose.
Next I'm shipping off spare parts to get an adequate CF. Even if it includes parting with the career AAA all-star Harris. Lee has really come on strong D and with his strong arm I like him in LF. If Borchard is ready, I'd rather have him in CF than "no problem .. s*** I dropped it" Harris.
I think the Spanish connection on the SOX gives them a better shot at retaining Colon than the STL wannabee. STL is hurting like never before for pitching. Now might be the time to get a solid bat for Buerhle. Edmonds any one? Whatever it takes. Buerhle and spare parts.
Nice Johnny! I say Cabrera from the 'Spos. I bet we can munson a great deal with Minyata like we did for Colon.
