So, today I have the priveledge if being at IIT surrounded by some of the brightest minds in the City of Chicago. The sad thing is, just a stones throw away is some of the DUMBEST executives in Major League Baseball.
Wont lie, this stupidity hurts and gets worse by the day as the WS FO continue to speak to the public!

Sorry man, I’m 40... been following the Sox since the day I could remember and I will NEVER cheer for the Cubs. There are 28 other teams to in the MLB and if I’m abandoning my beloved White Sox I would be damned if it were to join some fairweather northside fans that, up until about 5 years ago, a bulk of the fan base couldn’t even name their entire 25 man roster. Thanks but no thanks!

I think 1.2 mil is being nice. They dropped just 21k from 2017-2018. I think they way this offseason is set to turn out I see them lucky to break 1M

The Score broadcast is basically a shit show with them trying to figure out the whole miscommunication between KW and Hahn. We are officially the laughing stock of the MLB.

It is just sad looking at the trend for Attendance and then knowing if they have difficulties converting one of the two it could be even worse for 2019. When the league average is 2.1M and you are 500K below that it is a sad sad day.

Anyone sick of the Cubs and Yankees talk? Both teams GMs say that are out on both Whales but the National Reporters love to get Cubs Spring Training quotes about both of them. It would be fantastic if they would both just sign now so I can stop hearing the bullshit from the Northside and the East Coast Evil Empire.

Correct me if I’m wrong, if the Sox offered a signing bonus it would be taxes just the same as SD’s signing bonus - 0% since he STILL lives in FL. So I really don’t see the advantage there

That is pretty much why I said if there was one that maybe had silver in it or a retro glove for Sunday it would have been a totally different story.

The thing is the New York Yankee colors are Midnight Navy Blue, Gray and White - these gloves are clearly black and white. Now if there was one that had Black, White and Silver... or Maybe a throwback glove for the Sunday retro Jersey It would be a bigger clue but all in all, it is clearly White Sox colors.

Oh, I’m sure that every team will get to up their offer once additional offers are made. They want to try and maximize as much as they can. Hence my post regarding pulling back the offer - doesn’t that put Lozano is a worse position than he is now? If it ever becomes public knowledge the leading offer was x but pulled out, if you really wanted to slow play it you could just say yeah we would be interested but at 10% less than the highest offer since they are no longer interested.

If it is in fact true the White Sox hold the lead offer... would Lozano be screwed if and when the Sox decide to pull out? Kind of like the “Hey, we had ya at 7/$175... good luck now with that second offer that’s slightly lower - tootles”
Yes, I know it’s probably higher than that 7/$175 but that is the only number we’ve really seen.

I have witnessed those live many times and have to say, one of the most awkward introductions I have ever seen. Best part of it was Alonzo walking out and it looked like someone asked him where Manny was... he just shrugged his shoulders and kept walking LOL

I always trade the chips for the cookie! Even though its just frozen balled up crap when it goes into the cooker... those cookies come out like they were touched by the Hand of the Cookie God himself!

Was not sure which thread to add this so I felt this might be the best. I got this from a recruiter friend of mine regarding the Free Agent Process... Best comment in there hands down about the White Sox!
