the other day a friend and i were arguing about 300 game winners. specifically we were talkin about what current pitchers have a chance to get it. We went through some names and then I said, kinda half-jokingly, Buehrle woudl do it. He immediately started laughin and i kinda did too. But after thinkin about it for a while, i honestly think he has a decent chance to do it. Hes young, doesnt get hurt at all, pitches 200+ innings every year, and his good for 16, 17 a year, if not more. He should play for at least 10 more years. What do u think of his chances?

wouldnt mind him for the right price. if it were say a mccarthy and a mid level prospect id do it, Zito is still a very good pitcher IMO. Sure hes been s***ty the last 2 seasons, but before that he was what, a Cy Young Winner with liek 25 wins? hes only like 25, 26 and a left, id love to have him

yea, frank is pretty much the reason i became a sox fan. i remember that back in like 94, 95 when i started watchin sports seriously, i just saw this guy named frank thomas just dominate pitchers and hit bombs. i remember this one game against the royals, probably the 1st sox game i ever saw, frank hit an absolute bomb into the fountain at kaufmann . From then on, i just loved him and fell in love with the team soon after. ahhhhh, memories

forget about PK, im tired of Crede. Its the same old bs with this guy every year. he gave me hope at the beginning of the year, but now its the same old s*** again. before we know it he'll be hittin the usual .240. his swing his long and looks terrible at times, and he keeps poppin the f*** up. when is fields gonna be ready and what else is availible to replace joe? and im not just startin this rant cuz weve lost 3 in a row, Crede has been pissin me off for some time

1)they wouldnt trade chavez, its their franchise player 2) i dont want him any ways, he makes 10 mil a year and would cost a lot, at least a anderson or mccarthy plus another top 15 type prospect. and dotel just sucks, stay away from him

obviously this trade would NEVER do down, but i would do it in a heartbeat. IMO Teixiera and Blalock are the 2 best young hitter in the game.
