    The 2000 playoffs for starters.  He blew a few big ones against the Twins.

    I still remember that one game against the Twins at the metrodome...We were up a couple runs..Foulke came in and blew it..I still remember Denny Hocking hit that one off the baggy to win it for them..Totally turned our season into s***...I think Foule is a great closer...He just needs to be with a team that gets out of slumps...Remember the Sox are like the only team..where 5 or 6 players slump at the same time..

    I agree....I like the first 5 players...But after that its questionable...remember this lineup?

    Who knows if that is in the right order, but remember this 2000 lineup...

    If you are talking to me i am just saying that what someone does in the post season should not really have a large affect on how they get paid.

    Hey you should tell that to Scott Boras, in regards to Carlos Beltran...It shouldn't be that way, but it is..

    I don't think Millwood would be a good signing..only because the last two seasons he has struggled, but we don't need another pitcher like him..We are in need of a power pitcher..someone who can strike 10 out in a game almost on a regular basis.. a stopper...I wouldn't be too confident with him out there...Odalis Perez..Matt Clement..AJ Burnett (if healthy)...Johnson..I mean I know that there isn't much left..but I'd rather use Hermanson..for the 5th starter.instead of spending money on Millwood..then go out and get an infielder like Cabrera...

    In all seriousness, just watch....2 or 3 years from now Uribe will be the best shortstop in the AL not named Arod or Tejada.  The guy reminds me so much of Tejada.

    Yea especially with that upper-cut swing..If he was supposed to be a super star there is no way in the world that Colorado would of gotten rid of him...He looks too awkward at the plate and I don't see consistency with his bat because everytime he swings, he looks like he's swinging for the fences..I am looking forward to seeing Wilson Valdez...That kid's def. got some potential..

    I would love the idea of signing Pierzinski...Why? Only because he is a former Twin who killed us offensively and we are dying for a catcher! I just don't think that Ben Davis/Jamie Burke can get the job done...Come on Kenny just take a look!

    I can pretty much guarantee that we will not grab Clement...I still think we will land that starting pitcher through trade...And for some reason I think before Spring Training we will see the Vazquez to Sox..Konerko and Garland to D-Backs..Johnson to Yankees trade...Watch! Because somehow someway the Yankees are going to get Johnson...the Sox need that starter..this might be all that is left...I want to see that Olver Perez and Craig Wilson Trade...That would be great! But unfortunately we'll get a pitcher like Vazquez with 5.00 era..who choked in the playoffs..and Kenny will say the same thing..We want Vazquez to be the pitcher he was half of the season last year and the season before...You'll see!

    But who is left for the sox to take at the catching position...I mean I am highly doubtful that the sox would sign AJ because of the so called bad relationship he has with the sox management and some of the players..There is no one else out there..The only options we have now is trade..but we will lose a bat/position everytime we trade...Trade Konerko...gain catcher...lose first baseman...I have a gut feeling by the start of the season..we will have no power and an injured team on the field...Dye, Everett, Thomas..our power have too much experience being on the DL

    Does anyone feel a tiny bit nervous knowing that Ben Davis is going to be our starting catcher? We have made no upgrade at catching this offseason so far..it doesnt seem to be a priority..But I always thought Kenny loved the 3 catcher idea..who do we have left? Make a trade for Sandy! :headbang

    Why does everyone keep bringing up Neal Cotts..First I think the guy should be given the boot...The last 2 seasons..what's his era? Like 5? And then..everyone praises him by saying he had a few good outings..He is not someone you can depend on early or late in games...and he is not intimidating...if u go up to the plate against him..either A) Hit by pitch B) Walk C) Wild Pitch I mean remember that Yankees game...Man, I'll never forget that...
