I think many just expect the worst from Vizcaino and Shingo because that's usually what we see from them.

Is there something wrong with saying Vizcaino and Shingo have been bad this season? Ummm, they have.

Shingo has been an awful reliever this season.

He's a ton better now that he has stopped looking at the ground before he throws the ball. Apparently, that's why he sucked so bad in the past.
