  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 06:18 PM) Oh for a 2 run homer
  2. C'mon Kong -- put us on top!!
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 06:15 PM) I'm jumping on Morel cause he looks overmatched at the plate and has been nothing special in the field. With everyone else slumping, we can't afford to play someone who's struggling so much when Teahen or Omar is swinging better than him. This isn't the year to let a rookie take his lumps. I think a rookie is going to look overmatched at times. His effort and ability to take pitches to RF however shows that he's got the saavy to adjust to some of the big league pitchers he's facing. I think spelling him on occasion with Omar/Teahen is fine. This is the year to let him take his lumps because if you're looking for make or break production from the 9-hole then what kind of a season are you going to have anyway?
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 06:12 PM) Wait, Morel's not worthless? Dude, you're jumping on a rookie because he's not starting out of the gate hitting .300 and driving in clutch runs. Secondly, you think Teahen's better. I respectfully disagree. Strongly.
  5. QUOTE (since56 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 06:06 PM) Why doesn't Ozzie start Teahen and let him get three at bats and put Morel in at the end for defense? Instead you have Morel getting three at bats and Teahen on the field at the end of the game. I'd rather have Morel in there. Teahen is worthless. That was a hotshot that Cano fields 50% of the time.
  6. the same old s***. more hugs, kenny.
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 05:55 PM) Whoever taught Gordon to stand on his heels straight up and down is a moron. is there a decent instructor down in Charlotte who could help him?
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 05:43 PM) 1 run on what, 6 hits against Nova and Penny (two starters who had been horrible so far). I've never seen anything like this. and why is it always so contagious with this team? one swoons and they all swoon.
