  1. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 05:07 PM) Why because he is the best coach in the Big Ten? LOL
  2. Wow, IU choked on those last two shots. I thought both would have been in.
  3. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 04:58 PM) YBut, at the same time, I could see Bradley weakening U of Illinois' hold on Peoria,
  4. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 04:33 PM) Can Sullinger whine anymore? Just play already. Well, he did take a brutal elbow to the eye with no call.
  5. Florida over LSU 81-65, good news for Illini fans. Now let's go BC.
  6. I have no idea what IU is doing. Killingsworth in, Sylvester on em with Dials out, and they keep chucking threes. Brilliant strategy.
  7. QUOTE(SoxPhan7 @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 09:23 AM) IWhen i went there everyone was friendly and did not take themselves to seriously and think they are better than everyone else (like a certain Big Ten school down I-74, cough... U of I...cough). Way to throw 30,000+ people into the same exact group
  8. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 03:08 PM) Weak punishment? Maybe you should take a look at what was selfimposed. They definitely would of been in the big dance last year if they didnt ban themselves from postseason play. The NCAA realized that it was the coach and not the university. When U of I was crippled in the early 90's, we were cited for "lack of institutional control." And what they actually found on U of I wasn't as bad as writing a check to an athlete. Most tOSU fans were expecting more punishment than what they got. I would have expected them to lose a scholarship or two or off campus recruiting or something. But NCAA won't bite the hand that feeds them (OSU football).
  9. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 03:02 PM) That was a close game that you played at home and got a lot of phantom calls. This will be on a neutral court and hopefully the officiating will be better. OSU still has to get by Indiana today though. I really think they will come out hot. Thad should rip into and make sure they do not start like yesterday and allow a team like Indiana to get ahead. They should still be riding a high from the weak punishment they got from the NCAA :banghead

  11. If IU wins now the game tomorrow will be almost impossible to watch, i may have to utilize the mute button.
  12. I'd like to congratulate CBS for showcasing the Big Ten like this. Great schedule change guys. Hey Packer it's your own faul that they have tired legs and are hitting the front of the rim, etc. What a joke.
  13. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) If Iowa gets in the finals I could care less. A win would be cool, but I just want them entering the real tourney healthy. And if we meet OSU in the tourney, I know the Hawks are capable of beating them. We took them out once this year (although we beat everyone at home). I was referring more to the game that's up next, not tomorrow's game. I doubt tomorrow's game would really affect seeding that much anyway.
  14. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) If OSU plays like these two teams I dont know if I will be able to watch. OSU should have better legs than MSU had, that's for sure.
  15. This game and the fact that both teams are tired is just another reason why there shouldn't be a conference tournament. How much better would the big ten be if everyone played the extra 4 games and had a balanced schedule? I know, i know, it's all about money.
  16. Ugly, terrible game...but i can't really comment on ugly, terrible games...
  17. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 07:38 PM) Keys for MSU to have a shot: - Big 3 ALL must show up - Neitzel needs to score some points - Someone has to step up down low besides Davis Ours: Avoid a slow start Dee shoots well, again Augie/Randle stay on floor SnB over for the game, peace out
  18. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 07:21 PM) Announcer comments on how it's almost all orange in the building tonight. Great to hear (although not surprising), hopefully that helps out a bit tonight. Good stuff, good stuff. I L L
  19. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) Channel 26 in Chicagoland. He put himself and Mike Henderson onto every highlight show in the country. I honestly don't really care who wins this game, these 2 teams scare me equally, but that dunk had me going crazy. I'm more worried about tonight's game than tomorrow's game to be honest. But i'd rather see Minne win.
  20. We don't get it either. This no national tv stuff for the final 2 quarterfinal games every year is bulls***.
  21. Bilas and Digger like Minne over Iowa, and Ill over MSU
