Did anyone else try to order Cubs tickets today? I tried getting some for the Sox and Yankees series, and wow, talk about problems. The server was just jammed...errors everywhere. Now the games are sold out. So after 3 hours, i ended up with only 2 tickets to the cubs/sox friday game. Wow. I had friends online doing the same thing, some ended up with no tickets. What a joke this was. Very frustrating to say the least.

Alright, i'm in...lemme know if this is a problem. And let me know if there are any other leagues out there, especially a veterans league. Thanks.

Chisoxfn, thanks for the welcome. Just wondering if you've been a Borchard fan since he was at Stanford considering the Avatar you have. Loved what i saw from him last year, he's gonna be a talent for sure. And better yet, i've got him stashed away on my fantasy baseball keeper league farm system roster.

Well he said he wants to pitch for a contender...that's not a lof of teams. I think he'd fit in nicely with the Cards, especially with their shakey pitching situation. I mean, stephenson and williams are both coming off injury, and simontachhi only has one year under his belt. He could be a steal for them at 2 mil, and well worth it i think. They need someone to eat some innings up.

Steve Stone is amazing. I really don't mind Chip because of his enthusiasm and just overall presentation of the game. I don't think he deserves the bashing he usuall gets. However, if you want a terrible color man, look to his right...that'd be Joe Carter. Wow was he terrible. I mean, how good can you expect Chip to be with a dolt sitting next to him? No help whatsoever. However, the best baseball crew in the city is easily Pat Hughes and Ron Santo. Pat Hughes is just a God on the radio, and this is coming from a Sox fan. I love listening to him.

Baggio - Yes, i'm new here. Been a sox fan all my life...Heather led me to this site (i know here from blackhawkzone.com, huge hawks fan too). I'm on a college budget, so i make it out to a decent amount of games each year, last year i was at 15, i'm hoping to improve upon that. Let them battle it out in spring training, simple. I think D should be able to win out the job, i think he's got some sleeper potential this year. Keep in mind, he was more hyped than Soriano until his accident. That's not saying he's the next Soriano, not saying that at all. But he's got some talent. Instead, i'd rather see Harris take over CF for Rowand, especially if Rowand is still banged up from his dirt bike accident, which he probly will be. He won't be 100%, no doubt.

Baseball Weekly is an excellent publication. Occassionally, there's gonna be some typos. I agree with trading Lee for some pitching, maybe a #3 quality pitcher. Should have dished him for Lidle last year. Borchard needs a place to play, and it's not center field PS cwsox, that picture is not of Carson Palmer buddy. Heisman winner...he's not even the best qb in the big ten...that's Beutjer
